Airshow in Sweden
On Saturday, June 9, 2018, Växjö Småland Airport opened its doors to sky lovers and all curious visitors! On this day, the Swedish airport hosted the next air festival "VÄXJÖ FLYGKALASET 2018", which takes place every three years. The festival featured entertainment for the whole family. The aviation program included aerobatic teams and solo pilots on airplanes, gliders, and helicopters. Musicians and singers beloved by Swedish youth performed for the guests with their music programs, artists danced and performed on stage, and games for children were organized on the playgrounds. Everyone found entertainment for themselves. Among the invited guests was the Russian star Svetlana Kapanina. Her bright performance on the Su-26, rented from the Swedish pilot Daniel Ruf, left no one indifferent. People were eagerly awaiting her flight. Svetlana has become the mascot of the Växjö Småland Airport air show, taking part in it for the third time in a row, which is no more and no less than 9 years since she has delighted the public with her elegant and daring aerobatics.
