On June 17-18, 2017, the 8th International Private Aviation Festival, the Kuban Airshow, was held at the Azimut airfield in the Krasnodar Territory

For many years, this event has been successfully organized by the director of SimAvia LLC, Semyon Harutyunovich Moyan, for residents of Krasnodar and guests of the region. A large number of different planes and helicopters flew to the festival. The demonstration was attended by the Baltic Bees aerobatic teams on the L-39 and the First Flight of three Yak-52 and one Yak-54. The groups demonstrated excellent group piloting skills and beautiful teamwork. Single-man aerobatics was represented by aircraft: Pitts pilot S. Drobot, Yak-55 - Dzyuba and two Extra 330 aircraft piloted by Yuri Shurko and our "Russian Valkyrie" S. Kapanin. Svetlana rightfully became the star of the program. The audience was completely delighted with Her performance and were glad to learn that one of Svetlana's family tree branches originates in Kuban. Helicopters and small and business aviation aircraft also participated in the program. Parachutists and balloons soared in the Kuban sky. By tradition, the program was led by A. Makovetsky. The musical part was presented by V.Zakharov, a rock band, drummers and other performers. Thank you to everyone who organized this celebration and, of course, to those who took part in it!
