From August 18 to 22, 2016, the European Aerobatics Championship in the unlimited class was held in the Czech Republic
The Russian team won gold medals at the European Aerobatics Championship in the unlimited class. The championship was held in the Czech Republic in the city of Moravska Treshebova from August 20 to 28. In total, five teams participated in the championship, which is 40 pilots. Many athletes decided to perform individually. The absolute European champion among men was the Russian pilot Mikhail Mamistov. Among the women is Svetlana Kapanina. The Russian national team took the second place in the team competition. The first is from the French team.
