Congratulations to the Russian national aerobatics team on their brilliant victory at the 10th European Championship in the advanced class!

From 5 to 13 August 2017, the 10th European Championship in the advanced (restricted class) class was held at the Chotěboř airfield of the Czech Republic. The Russian national team was represented by: Vasily Plotnikov, Dmitry Samokhvalov, Artem Popov, Roman Ovchinnikov, Vladimir Yakushev, Mikhail Bezdenezhnykh, Vladimir Kotelnikov. The team's coach is Mikhail Mamistov. Dmitry Samokhvalov became the absolute European Champion. He brought home a bouquet of 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.

Roman Ovchinnikov won the 3rd place in the Overall Championship, with 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in his bouquet. Vladimir Kotelnikov became another medalist: 1 gold and 1 bronze medal. Guys, I congratulate you on your high achievements and wish you further sports and life victories!!!! The Russian national team consists of.Samokhvalova, R.Ovchinnikova, V.Kotelnikova took the 1st team place. In total, the Russian team has 4 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

Sukhoi became the "absolute plane" at this championship. And in my opinion, this is his well–deserved place not only on this one, but also on all other aerobatic champions. He is the best aerobatic aircraft in the World, as well as the Russian pilots in his cockpit!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
